Chad Donnelly

Dylan  Sheridan

Playing high school lacrosse at Western Reserve Academy in Ohio, Dylan went on to be a three time USLIA All- America selection at Claremont Mckenna College, as well as a three time WCLL All-League performer.  Dylan traveled to Osaka Japan as a member of Team USA West, and to Berlin and Prague as a member of Team USA California.

Dylan is the former assistant women's lacrosse coach at Saint Mary's College (Div I). Prior to Saint Mary's, Dylan served as the Director of Player Development and Offensive Coordinator for the Pfeiffer University (Div II)  Dylan has also coached  USA Starz teams in Australia and Berlin/Prague.


Dylan is currently an assistant men’s coach at Lebanon Valley College (Div III) in Penn.

Rob Novorolsky

Originally from Washington state, Rob split time between being a defenseman and an attackman. Received all state honors as an attackmen Sr Year as one of the top 5 scorers in the state.  In college, Rob attended NDNU where he was a 4 yr starter on defense.  Rob has been involved in MLL tryouts with the Chicago Machine 08. Rob was a part of one of the great teams, USA California summer of 07, that took Europe by storm.

Rob served as the defensive coordinator at Pfeiffer University (Div II) last season. Rob was an assistant coach for the girl’s team at Newport Harbor High School in 2009.   Rob has been involved in pushing the knowledge of the sport to youths through camps and clinics in Washington, Oregon, Nevada, Illinois, and northern and southern California.  He was a coach on the 2009 USA Starz trip to Berlin and Prague.

Rob is currently the head women’s lacrosse coach at Cal Poly State University.

Mary Clare taylor

Mary Clare graduated from Mount Hebron High School (Ellicott City, MD) in 2005 where her team was ranked #1 in the nation all four years, and also won four consecutive state championships during her time there.  She went on to play at Loyola College in Maryland (Div I) as a three-year starting midfielder and captained the team in her senior year.  She earned "Most Dedicated Player" of the team and the athletic department's "Leadership Award".


Mary Clare has most recently coached clinics throughout Europe in the summer of 2009.  She has also been involved in coaching at the club level for several years.  She has coached the M&D Lacrosse Club and Greyhound Lacrosse Club in Maryland.  She has also coached many east coast college camps.  In the Spring of 2010, she will be joining the coaching staff at Cathedral Catholic High School (San Diego, CA).

Kimberly Pytel

Kimberly hails from Severna Park, MD and grew up playing lacrosse from a young age.  After high school, she played on the nationally ranked WDIA University of Maryland team as a midfield starter for four years.    She proved to be a natural leader on the team and took those leadership skills with her to Southern California where she serves as a director and player for the San Diego Women’s club team.


Kimberly has been directing and coaching the SD Rip Club team (a Starz team) for 2 years as well as coaching at Westview High School for 3 years.  Both were previously failing programs that she helped lead to a Starz Cup Championship and three consecutive CIF playoff appearances respectively.  Additionally, she coached the 2009 West Coast Starz team and served as a Tournament Director for the 2009 7v7 Invitational Tournament.  Kimberly is currently Varsity Assistant Coach at La Costa Canyon HS (So Cal).

Brianne Tierney

Brianne graduated from the Hun School (Princeton, NJ) in 2002 with All-State and All-Prep honors as both a lacrosse and field hockey player.  She went on to play at Loyola College in Maryland for her freshman year before transferring to Colgate University (Div I, Hamilton, NY), where Tierney was an attacker on two of the Red Raiders' Patriot League championship teams, in 2004 and 2005



Brianne recently became a Division III head coach at Lebanon Valley College (Annville, PA) and has been coaching at the collegiate level since she graduated from Colgate in 2007.  She was the offensive coordinator at the University of California Berkeley and before that, worked with both the attack and goalies at Monmouth University (West Long Branch, NJ).  Tierney has also served as a lacrosse camp counselor at Princeton University and UNC. 

Melissa Anderson

Melissa is from Syracuse, NY, where she played high school lacrosse at Baldwinsville.  She went on to be a full scholarship player, team captain, team MVP and All-American selection at UMass (Div I).  She continues to play lacrosse for the San Diego women’s club team.



Melissa has coached at just about all levels of play for the past 15 years.  She coached college ball at CW Post (Div I), and has been coaching teams with Adrenaline and the Starz Lacrosse Club since she moved to California.  Melissa is currently the head coach of the University of San Diego women’s team and the Carolina Elite Starz team.

Shane Moriarty

From the state of Washington, Shane was a 4 year varsity team captain of the Garfield High School lacrosse program receiving all state honors twice.  Shane attended the University at Albany (Div I) and contributed the 2007 semi-final team that was ranked 2nd in the nation.  In 2009 Shane was honored with the Allan Kornfield Memorial Award given for outstanding commitment and service to the Albany lacrosse program.  In 2009 Shane played with the USA STARZ red squad that won championships in Berlin and Prague in their most recent tour of duty.



Shane Returned to Seattle to contribute at Garfield High School as the offensive coordinator.  In the off season he regularly contributes to the Starz program as a head coach.

Carlos Trujillo

Carlos played college lacrosse at the United State Military Academy at West Point (Div I) from 1990 to 1994 including a trip to the NCAA Division I Quarterfinals in 1993.  He continues to play club ball for the Olympic Club, and will be strapping up for the Mexican National Team at the 2010 World Games.


His coaching career began at Stanford where he was the Defensive Coordinator from 1999 to 2002, helping lead that team to its first and only USCLA National Championship game in 2001. He then took over as Head Coach at Chapman University, again taking that team to its first National Championship appearance in 2003. Coach Trujillo spent 2005 as the Defensive Coordinator for Div II NDNU and has been the Assistant Head Coach at Bellarmine College Prep from 2006 through 2008.  Carlos coached on the 2008 USA Starz trip to Berlin and Prague.


In 2009 Carlos took over as the head coach of Archbishop Mitty High School in San Jose.


Matt Scheel

While playing at Western Reserve Academy in Ohio, Matt was a four year letter winner, 1st team all Ohio, and a HS All-American.


Sean attended the United State Military Academy at West Point (Div I), where he was a two year letter winner.  As a rookie in 2005, he was both the Army and Patriot league Rookie of the Year.  He also holds the 2nd all-time scoring record for a rookie at Army. 


Matt  also competed in the 2007 Berlin Open and Prague Cup tournament with the USA California Team.



Matt has served as both the Assistant Offensive Coach and the Head Offensive Coach at Dublin Coffman High School (Ohio) since 2007.

PROGRAM Directors

Sara Fraschetti

Sara graduated from La Costa Canyon High School (Carlsbad, CA) in 2001 when the Girl's Lacrosse team seized their first California State Girl’s Lacrosse Championship.  She went on to play at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as attack and center where she helped the team earn three of their seven consecutive WDIA National Championship Titles.  She earned "Most Inspirational Player" all three years and was named Captain her junior year. 


Sara has been involved in coaching at the club level, including the Dakota youth girl’s program in San Diego, the Southern California Sub-Regional Team, and coaching and acting as tournament director for the 2009 SoCal 7v7 Invitational Tournament.  Sarah is currently the head varsity coach at La Costa Canyon High School (San Diego), the three year reining CIF Southern Champions.  She is also an assistant coach with the SD Rip High School Starz team.

Adam Guy

Adam played high school ball in Southern California at El Toro HS, where he was a four year League Defensive MVP and an All-American.  In College, Adam was a four year starter at Ohio Wesleyan University (Div III).  A four time all- conference player, Adam was team captain his senor year.


Adam travelled across the pond in for a year from 2007-2008 to work as a lacrosse development officer in Manchester, UK.  Specifically, Adam worked with the Timperley Lacrosse Club, where he coached, developed lacrosse within the club, recruited new players, and taught the sport in local elementary and secondary schools. 


Adam is currently the program director for the Renegades Starz Lacrosse Club, and also the head JV and assistant varsity coach at El Toro HS (Southern California)

Max Ritz

Originally from Pennsylvania (Radnor High School), Max played four years at the University of Maryland (Div I).  As a four year starter, his honors include: winning the Jack Turnball Award, being Team Captain, being named All-ACC, and twice as an All-American.  Max is also a player with the new pro league exhibition tour, LXM.


Max is involved with coaching through the Starz Lacrosse Club and various Adrenaline lacrosse events, camps and clinics.  Max is also a pro player on the LXM lacrosse tour.

Highlights: MLL All-Star (2005)...2005: Kyle became the second rookie in league history to be named to an All-Star Game. Drafted in the first round (1st overall) by the New Jersey Pride in the 2005 MLL Collegiate Draft.  2006 and 2008: MLL All-Star

At Johns Hopkins: Led Johns Hopkins to its first national championship in 18 years as a senior in 2005...Received the Tewaaraton Trophy and the USILA's Enners Award as the nation's top player in 2005...He was a three-time All-American, earning first team honors twice...He received the McLaughlin Award as the nation's top midfielder in 2004 and 2005...Johns Hopkins went 55-6 in his four years, advanced to four final fours and did not lose a game at home... 

Kyle is currently an assistant coach at Chapman University.  He also is a pro player on the LXM Lacrosse tour

Rory Burke

Coach Burke began his lacrosse career at Wheat Ridge High School in Colorado.  He was a two year starter on defense for the Farmers, as well as team captain in 1998, before attending the University of Colorado, Boulder. During his time as a Buff, he started at longstick midfielder and close defense for four years, earning All Conference and All America awards. In 2002 Coach Burke was selected to play for USA West at the Wold Lacrosse Championship in Perth Australia, where the team won the International Open Tournament. Currently Coach Burke reps on the Adrenaline Lacrosse Club in Southern California.

Coach Burke began his coaching career at CU, where he served as the Defensive Coordinator in 2003. Shortly after, he joined the Chapman University staff in 2005, and has served as Asst. Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Coordinator, and he currently works with the teams Midfield. When not coaching lax, Coach Burke spends his spare time being awesome.

Mark Frey

Coach Mark Frey played high school lacrosse at Mclean High School in McLean, VA which is apart of the Washington DC metropolitan area where he was a two-time all state mid-fielder. He attended Ohio State University (1 year letterman). He finished his career at (#10 in the country) Western Maryland College. Coach Frey brings 26 years of lacrosse.

Dan Groot

Coach Groot played lacrosse for the University of Maryland (Div I).  Groot earned honorable mention United State Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division I All-America in 2009 and was a third-team selection in 2007 and a pre-season All-America selection in 2008. The midfielder for the Terrapins was also named to the ACC all-tournament team in 2007. In 2009, Groot was named an Academic All-American.

He was drafted by the Washington Bayhawks (26th overall selection) of the Major Lacrosse League.  Dan has also played on the LXM Pro Lacrosse tour in 2010.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Dan took an assistant coaches job at Brockport University (Div III) in New York., where he still currently coaches.
